THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS, WHAT HAS LED YOU TO SEEK OUT COACHING?
The reason is different for everyone and can include a successful start at a new job, a general restlessness or unhappiness, overcoming a setback, a desire for increased confidence, or support with achieving an established goal or future promotion.
Coaching is a two-way street where the coach will engage the client in direct and honest questions and conversations, as the client sets the agenda. Participating in a coaching program requires an openness to explore, self-reflect, and the courage to take action to transform yourself.
Executive & Leadership Coaching
Every leader’s journey is different which is why Blue Blazer Leadership customizes the coaching experience to provide tailored support. Coaching is provided by someone who understands the demands and complexity of leading an organization. The engagement is structured to provide the space needed to define a future vision, establish objectives, and focus on results. Self-reflection is critical to understand real or perceived obstacles and develop resiliency.
Career Transitions Coaching
John Maxwell wrote that change is inevitable, growth is optional. Whether change comes from a new, planned or lost career, job, transfer, or promotion, transition coaching provides support for whatever life brings. Events change our external environment however it is the inner transition and transformation that provides opportunities for reflection, growth, and increased self-awareness. Coaching sessions focus on harnessing lessons learned and making sense of internal shifts in thinking.
360 Feedback & Assessments
No matter how self-aware, we all have blind spots. Assessments provide an opportunity to work under the structure of a proven framework to understand your style of leadership or how you might be perceived by others, and to develop targeted action plans for growth. Self-assessments include surveys you complete to gain deeper insights into your preferences, style, or motivations. 360 Feedback gathers the perspectives of supervisors, peers, and direct reports to provide a deeper understanding of how you come across in comparison to how you see yourself.
What to Expect
Introductory Call:
The coaching process starts with an introductory call to explore your objective for coaching, understand what coaching is and is not, and expectations for the coaching engagement.
Coaching Agreement
The coaching agreement captures the specifics determined on the introductory call. The agreement outlines the type of coaching, duration of the coaching engagement, pricing, and expectations for both parties. The first session will take place after the agreement is signed
Coaching Sessions
Every coaching engagement is unique and tailored to the client’s individual needs. The duration of a coaching engagement typically consists of six one-on-one coaching sessions that range from 45 to 90 minutes in length.
